Sabronum is governed by a structured traditional council under the leadership of Nana Kofi Asante Mensah, who was installed to restore integrity and champion sustainable development following challenges with illegal mining activities. Key Facts About the Ahafo Ano South East District Population: Approximately 85,000 people, with agriculture as the primary economic activity. Land Area: 553 square kilometers, characterized by fertile lands, forest reserves, and perennial rivers. Economic Activities: Dominated by cocoa farming, oil palm cultivation, and vegetable farming, supplemented by small-scale mining. Challenges: Poor road networks, inadequate healthcare facilities, and environmental degradation from illegal mining activities.
